This one's more of a traditional one.
Nearly every culture has a religion/legend revolving around a baby hero. I think this may be because it's very nice to think people are fated to be heroes rather than learning it.
Anyway, enough of that.
The message here is (meant to be) that sometimes the "smaller" players, the "weaker" players, are the ones who hold the key to the fight. This theme is rather overexploited in literary and other media.
And sorry about the missing corner; my dog likes paper and decided that her dinner wasn't big enough. (talk about cliches, but it did happen... she got locked in the laundry for it.)
