Spatial Vitreosity by Lupus-deus-est Spatial Vitreosity by Lupus-deus-est
This one I had to rerender a few times to get the colour/brightness balance right... and once because it had a dirty great big hole which was begging to be filled.
As always, I'd love some feedback on this one. This dev is more an art-for-art's-sake type image; it started off trying to be a representation of the fragility of our existence, but sort of deviated from that about 3 xforms in lol!

I still think I should have added a bit more variation to the stars in the top right. They look... flat.

its good - though I agree about stars in the top right or if you had some neat cloud patterns through out like in the nebulae pics [link]

you could do it by mixing this with "relaxation garden" with a lowered opacity and different color gradient thingy right ?

I have no idea what that is - I played with Apo a bit - but the whole thing seemed so arcane

UF makes the images that are usually (to quote the stereotypical, most often done version) spiral fractals with butterflies or flowers. Occasionally someone will bother making something different, and then it creates absolute wonders...

BOOBIES!

Um, um.

Thank you! :D Lately I've been spilling into the realm of overcomplicated, and I figured it was time for something with a bit more of a clean simplicity.

Lol very cool. I think it still represents the fragility of our existence. It has that touch, IMO.

Schweet fankoo! Also I tried for a bit of simplicity - my images lately have been rather complicated! I had added all these extra spherical and curl_3d xforms but I looked at it and went, no, not right.
It's funny how the image you have in your head is usually not the one that best conveys what you are trying to say. Like if I said (random) "manure", I would be thinking of cow manure, because to me sheeps do droppings. To you, however, cows may shit, whereas sheep may make manure.
(What would be the verb form of manure, I wonder?)

Of course I do! lol. I have to save all my flames just in case a client wants one larger than I have rendered. And anyway, Apo saves them automatically upon rendering...
