Interesting to make, this one. It's a close relative of Castles of the Magyc Kind, in that it uses similar principles (the curl_3d parallels etc), but looks... different... to what I had planned.
I'm a bit limited in what I can learn by the fact I can't seem to get my plugins to... plug in (using folder name "Plugins", "Plugins_3d"...). In saying that, I have completely skipped round some areas people (gathering by what comes out of #Apophysis) seem to do before they learn anything else. A sample of one of those areas was the type evidenced in your most recent DD (!) "Das Model". I have failed dramatically (so far, at least) in finding a tutorial for curl_3d or the more interesting linears - have I missed one in your gallery? Do you know of a good one? Or several? Also, does the cheat I learned from one of ^Platinus's workshops (scale up, zoom out) cause grain? I'm trying to restrain myself... out:
Hahahahahaha..I love the expression plugins-to plug-in Ok, no jokes - well, not all plugins work, which is bad ...but happens, plus some may conflict with others that happens too Good news is, that can be taken care of, unfortunately takes time you gotta ad one plugin after another, and open apo to see if it works I would remove all the plugins you got and then ad them in small groups Plus, your comp (as every other one) has a plugin limit (that depends on RAM) Mine goes to about 115 plugins per folder
Curl? curl3D ? usually I use it in combination with sphericals or mobius ..hmmm tutorials ? not sure I have seen one, but have you checked #Fractal-Resources there is a big section of apo tutos, scripts, params and anything else you need ouuu yes plugins as well The best linear tutos or flames are by `ClaireJones and :devneuchrauchen: Everything else is playing with things - you gotta experiment and don't be scared to 'screw-up' things (you can always undo or save diff flame stages)
