"Where do vanished objects go?"
"Into non-being, that is to say, everything."

I feel like this would look even more gorgeous with some animation, ripples and some movement.

This is really scary, I happened to have read those exact two lines five minutes ago, for I am re-reading the Harry Potter series... woah. Just WOAH.

Lawl!
I must confess, I am not a fan of the series as a whole... DH is the only one I truly enjoy muchly. HBP I don't mind. The reason I watch Rowling so intently is that she has one of the steepest learning curves I have ever seen in a literary artist. The first book was... ok... then the quality went down... but then, with an almighty HAWOOMPH she shot back up in the last two books. I reckon she'll be on my "good writer" list in a couple of books' time (not an easy task, considering she'll be approaching the likes of Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb... she passed Tolkein a long time ago, something only marginally more difficult than passing Meyer.)

Seriously, have you read Robert Jordan's lot? I would definitely recommend him.

I've read through the first six books of WoT a big while ago, I barely remember anything of it though (unless I'd reread it of course). Even though I've got all books now but the last...

I'm not much a fan of the HP series either, but when you don't really have any other stuff to read at the moment it's an okay timewaster. :)
