Heavens, it has been a while since my last update. I know I say that practically each time, but...
Lots of news: two new additions to our household, two big trips, a lot of big news, and a project completed.

I've mentioned before about the song of my heart (~Zommael) coming to Australia to live with me. Well, in January, he arrived, and is settling in well. He even has a job, much more quickly than I expected.
The other new addition to the household is named Idris, because she is the Sexy. Idris is my renderbeast - 3.7GHz, 32GB RAM, 2GB VRAM, water cooling... - so you will be seeing a bit of an increase in the Vueage I pump out (once I get some of this imaginary stuff called "free time"). Occasionally I may also have rendertime free (say if I go on a trip) but there are a few people who have first dibs on this as I owe them a lot
The first of the big trips was to get A Memory of Light, the last book in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series, and ~Zommael, who arrived in Australia two days after it came out. We spent a week or so touring round Brisbane before coming back up to Rocky. The other was a scary one - taking ~Zommael down to meet the family for my father's 50th. Whoa. We did three aunts and uncles, two grandparents, one father, two mothers, and an incalculable quantity of cousins.
We're back up in Rocky again after that trip, working frantically. I'm a proper full member of the team at work now and my responsibilities have increased wildly. Yay to 60h weeks! But the business is doing well, save for a system failure this week -sigh- that damn thing had only just got back from repairs too!
Anyway, I've finally got a moment to myself, so I am going to make Idris do what she was made for and Vue something.
